Giovanni Corvezzo

Here at Corvezzo, our 100% certified organic winery with over half a century of winemaking tradition, we pursue this goal every day, thanks to our extraordinary expertise in the delicate art of organic viticulture.

The knowledge we gained experimenting innovative agronomic techniques for more than 10 years now, has made us sector leaders in the production of organic Prosecco and Pinot Grigio for vineyard surface of property.

The family’s winery and vineyard (154ha) are located near Treviso, between the Dolomites and the Adriatic Sea, a perfect area for the production of organic grapes.
1960
The founder Giovanni,
together with his wife Maria,
establishes the Corvezzo winery
in the small village of Cessalto.
1970-80
Their sons,
Giuseppe and Renzo,
expand the vineyard
to a surface of more than 140 ha.
Meanwhile,
they start experimenting of
a more sustainable approach
to viticulture: integrated pests control.
2009
Giovanni Corvezzo,
Renzo’s son, takes the lead
of the business and
begins to imagine a
certified organic winemaking,
without the use
of synthetic substances.
2010
Giovanni strongly believes in his project  and starts the conversion
of the family’s vineyard (150ha).
After four years,
the time necessary to the
organic conversion,
Corvezzo creates its first organic label.
2014
Giovanni strongly believes in his project  and starts the conversion
of the family’s vineyard (150ha).
After four years,
the time necessary to the
organic conversion,
Corvezzo creates its first organic label.
2017
The organic conversion process
of all family’s vineyards
is completed: the vineyard of
Corvezzo’s organic Prosecco
is the first for surface in Italy.
2020
First tests for
biodynamic viticulture
